i imagine the tête bleue girl as a maker, someone who makes tunes with a fork and a wine glass, writes poems on paper planes and flies them off to her lovers, draws lines in the air, joins marches and becomes a speck of dust in the masses to express herself. my inspiration was someone i’ve never met, who was inspired by jean cocteau’s poem, soft caramel, who was walking right by godard’s side in paris in may ’68.
